Last weekend (Oct 29), the photo club I belong to had an outing to photograph some of the churches in Lamont County which is just north of Edmonton. There are 43 churches in this county. The outing encompassed half a dozen.

I've uploaded the images to my website. If you have time, take a look.

Very interesting perspectives of the churches. Nice to see something other than the broadside of a building. Nice photos, some could use a little work, a little processing

I realize they don't have titles so it would be hard to isolate particular images however I would like to hear what you refer to as 'a little processing'.

Good collection..... thanxs for the tour. Great photo club project. Seems like a long term project if you were interested in documenting all of the churches. The detail pictures are interesting - towers, bells, window/doors etc. A few more full elevation/views would nice too.

Thanks for the comments. The outing was in the afternoon so some of the churches weren't in their best light. There was some talk about visiting in the early morning as a lot of the churches face east.

Most of the churches are Ukrainian Roman Catholic or some form of Orthodox (Russian/Greek) so some of the architecture is quite interesting as can be seen on some of the towers.

.. also, finding some of the churches can be a challenge (even with a map) since they are mostly located on back roads and appear to be in the middle of farmer's fields (which some pretty much are).

Just one last bump...

Thanks. (I'm pretty sure you meant gates)

My favourite is the last one in the collection.

Thanks Sher.

Most of the processing was done in the RAW conversion. Only one or two perspective adjustments otherwise in Photoshop.
