I was just wondering your thoughts on Console vs. PC Gaming..
With the XBOX 360 almost here, are Consoles now superior to PC's for gaming?
Graphics/multiplayer/sound/titles.. Who has the advantage in your opinion?
Some graphic cards alone cost more than the Xbox, does that make your PC a better gaming rig?
Thoughts/Opinions/whatever.. |

I was a level 42 in Halo 2.
But that was at the beginning of the summer...when I was bored out of my mind.
I havn't played it in 4 months probably. Those were the days...

yes, no, maybe.... I dunno.
I can't imagine that the 4 year product cycle can really keep up with the PC.
Frankly, with the new dual core 64bit chips out, you'd be hard pressed to say that the consoles are "better".
But man you can't beat the price/performance with a stick.

well... its kind of a tough debate.
hands down no PC can compare to any EA Sports Football/Hockey/Baseball/Boxing game on the console.
As far as graphics wise? No console will ever have the seamingly limitless upgradeable possibilities as a PC. I've been a long time PC Game player and have had a few consoles as well. The only problem the PC presents is its inability to include a group of people. The video card I purchased about a year ago still surpasses the latest consoles capability.
Now in a boxing match(played on console of course): Console v. PC
PC wins in round 2.

| No thoughts on either since you are wondering. Never got into either. |

totaldis make a good point with the multiplayer.
I used to live in apartment with two other guys, and some other geeks move in upstairs. We hooked our lans together and would have lan parties and stuff.
But for just getting together with friends and playing some good ole' games with the buds, you really can't beat consoles with everyone sitting next to each other on the couch.
So I guess the question is, how do you use your console? For the fastest FPS and total ability to dominate in deathmatch, you gotta have a PC and a fat pipe (Broadband, not weed). For having fun with your friends, you gotta have a console.
