I know I have read it some where before but I cannot locate it. If I have a picture shot in RAW format can you expose the image on the sky and then on the ground and combine since they are the same file number.

Could someone explain if it can be done within the rules and if so how do you do it using PS/CS. I have to process in Raw Shooters Essentials then process in PS/CS.

Thanks in advance,
-SDW

I think that since you would have to make a composite later that this would be technically outside of the rules.

I would still love to have this rule modified to allow this and panoramic composites. Oh well..

I think many landscape and natural light lovers would love to use the High Dynamic Range functions in CS2...

I thought there were a couple threads on the subject. Ok in advance if I recall.

I did read a post from one of the SC members (kirbic it was, I think), saying that you could process the same RAW file differently and combine them, in Advanced Editing, to create the final image.

yes, it has been legal under advanced editing (but not basic) since last summer. (link -- scroll down to Spazmo99's post)
