The day I left the US for Australia, my husband and I spent the day with my mom and stepdad in LA, celebrating Dia De Los Muertos on Olvera St. I think it's hilarious that I spent my last day in the US celebrating a Mexican holiday ;)
Dia De Los Muertos is a great event to photograph- it's so creepy and fun, all at the same time.

We have arrived, we got here on Friday! I'm almost settled with the time difference, though I'm still getting up pretty early compared to usual (5:30am today, usually 8ish)
gi_koe05, as for how people were dressed, there wasn't anyone in costume- it was just facepaint on the kids. Adults and kids alike were dressed in normal street clothes!
