I have a Nikon 17-55 f/2.8 and a Nikon 85 f/1.8 on the way... It took me a long time to push the "confirm order" button on B&H = P ($$$) Can't wait to try 'em out for the wedding I'm shooting in a couple weeks. Anyone interested in a pristine quality Nikon 18-70 f/3.5-4.5? I'm selling mine with a Tiffen UV filter for $300.

Both sound like excellent lenses, and the low light capability will come in VERY handy. I don't use Nikon too often, but I know their glass is good, and would expect that 85 1.8 to be a winner.

Good glass not only helps you achieve faster shutters, but it also helps the AF out by allowing more light to be gathered, helping the low light capability of any camera.

Now try to get a 200 2.0 VR. If I was a Nikon guy, I'd jump all over that.
