Last week, i went visiting the "World Press Photo 2005". That was amazingly sad but pictures makes me out of breath. That was completely unbelievable. Pictures from everywhere around the world about lots of subject mostly tragedy (natural, war, etc.) that happens this year. And the best pictures are taken.
For people who don't know this contest, it takes place every year and it's about the quality and history of some photos took by photographers for news of all kind all around the world.
If anyones saw this exposition... i would like to read your comments on it.

who is it that can enter? anyone...I hope so, that will become one of my many goals. |

They publish the winning photos in a yearbook. Search Amazon for 'World Press Photo'

You definitely need to be a professional photojournalist. I don't think that the image needs to have been published, but they have very strict criteria about professionals only. You should be able to find the rules of submission on their website |
