I just purchased a new 105mm sigma lens and was wondering what is the Limit/full switch used for? its driving me crazy.

Since it autofocuses kinda slow and over a huge distance, selecting full will allow the lens to 'hunt' for focus over the full range and selecting limit will limit you to the macro distances or the non macro distances, depending on which distance youre in at the time of selecting 'limit.'
