Well, I was able to limp my computer through the gallery opening in the middle of last month but that was when things ground to a halt. Had to restore the hard drive and that meant - ultimately - losing my web site.

This morning I just finished reposting the site. The bleak gray is gone and now I use white, red and yellow - it's garish, but what the heck.

Used the photos I took for a band at their Halloween party gig for the new index page (anyone familiar with the Radioactive Squirels??). Was hoing you all would give it a looksee - //www.mikasiphotography.com

Thanks,
Mik

Welp, the art opening is behind me - as is the Halloween party I shot for a local band. That gave me the time to reconstruct my web site (it died when my computer croaked a couple weeks back).

I'd appreciate y'all checking it out - I'll accept any critique you offer and heaven knows I can use the hits.

Thanks,
Mik

Mike I'm sorry, but you have a bunch of problems on your site - non-working links, navigation issues, badly aligned buttons, text over the top in places that it shouldn't be, etc.
No need for me to try and type it all out, I'm sure you can see them yourself if you have another look.
Let me know when you've fixed those, and I'll see if I find something else to complain about *s*

I didn't have those problems but I didn't try every link either. The text and everything looked fine but having to go back and forth from the index to the single pictures was VERY aggrivating. My shots open in a seperate window that you have to close, which is almost as irritating, I'm working on that.

I think I'll put a "back" button on those pages to make it easier. I thought of doing the "open in new window" option, but for dial up types like me that didn't seem like it would work.

Thanks for your feedback!
