I am new to Mpix. They have a spiral boud portfolio that i'd like to try, but i have 90 some odd pics to upload...all i see is a page that requires you to click to upload file by file.
Is there a faster way? |

I gave up on Mpix because of their awkward upload system.

I am not sure how, but when I upload photos, it gives me a thing where I can click and drag as many pictures as I want to the upload platform. Then I just hit ok or whatever and I can upload a bunch at a time.
You could always check out their forums. They are really great. I get alot of help in there and the people are very very nice!

You have to create a "new album" in your Mpix portfolio, then you can upload an entire folder from there.
Edit: Drag a box to highlight all the photos in a folder, and if there's some that you don't want just hold ctrl and click the ones you don't want. Then drag them to the window below.

New Album, huh?
I went with my first choice, MyPublisher. The software you download runs pretty fast. Not super versatile, but it seems to work better than something else i tried a month ago where you had to upload everything and then do the layout of a book.
I am doing an 'album' of a wedding I got to shoot for my portfolio. I had a 50% off coupon for MyPublisher and still spent $70 with shipping (to get 2 40 page hardcover books). I am interested to see how good, or bad, it turns out.
It told me that i had 'pictures' below the recomended quality. it did not tell me how many, or what their quality standard is. It did say there were outlined in red in the layout...i looked but never did find any. Should be interesting, huh? |
