Unbelievable. Uribe is one hell of a great defensive shortstop. I never thought I would see this in my lifetime. I'm not going to be very wide-awake at work tomorrow since it's going to be quite awhile before I will be able to get to sleep.

Usually a 4-game world series sweep means that one team pretty much walks all over the other. That was not the case here, as Houston played very well in all 4 of the games. That makes the White Sox accomplishment even more impressive.

The Japan series just ended with a four-game clean sweep by a team that hadn't won it in 31 years. Don't you find that incredibly interesting?

Congrats to the White Sox and all their fans. Houston played well but their pitching let them down when Chicago's pitchers were stepping it up. Where have they been hiding that Bobby Jenks?

For an even more dominating 4 game sweep get out Baseball Encyclopedia and look up the `66 win by the Orioles over the defending champ Dodgers.

Congrats to the new champs in Japan, the Chiba Lotte Marines lead by former Mets manager Bobby Valentine.

Do they have an international "World" Series? Say ... Japan's winning team vs. Sox? Sounds like fun to me!
