Adobe has a deal for Canon customers. You can purchase the full version of Photoshop CS2 for $299 if you enter your Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 serial number (bundled software with Canon cameras).
This has probably been posted before, but I ordered yesterday. I wanted to post it in case anybody doesn't know about it, or wondered if the offer were still valid.

Well tonight I tried to get it using my Elements, got all the way through the end and it won't process my card. Called them, they tried twice, said to call my bank. My bank said, "you have plenty of funds" duhhhh like I didn't know this .. "call them back and tell them it is a problem with their system!!! Needless to say I'm frustrated and still do not have CS2 :( |

You need to ask your card issuer specifically why the transaction was declined. There are plenty of reasons why a transaction could be declined that have nothing whatsoever to do with the amount of money in your account.
Name mismatches are incredibly common -- for example, your middle initial is on the card but you didn't enter it when you made the purchase.
Other reasons include not entering your billing address EXACTLY as it appears on your statement.

when I click the terms/conditions button, it says the offer expires November 30, 2006, NOT 2005....a year and a day remain on the deal from what I can see, unless I missed something. |

Hmm, you're right...I thought I was going crazy until I checked Google's cached web page and it did say 2005. It looks like they've extended it another year...I guess. Either way, good deal!
