I was so upset that my entry didn't do better...

I knew it was sharp, in focus, well composed, good lighting, technically on target. Then, I received your feedback - Interesting picture. Nice capture but would love to see something that showed your originality with it.

I realized you were correct - the photo though technically well composed and captured, wasn't all that original. It was like I took a picture of a painting or something. You took all the wind out of my sails - I was filled with indignation - "never going to enter another one of these stupid challenges again." Your comment was extremely constructive and really made me reflect.

Thank you! ...and I am still entering challenges. I am determined to break away from the 4-5 range with a great entry eventually!!

Your very welcome persimon. I am by far no expert and try hard to give good comments. Sorry if I came across harsh, that was not my intent. I've had some bad comments that knock me on my *** and hope I never do that to someone else. Glad to see you will continue to enter challenges. I looked at your profile and it seems you are well on your way of breaking out of that range :)
