Howz about if...
You could place a checkbox next to names in your "favourite photgraphers" bit on your profile page to say that you would like an auto-email which would tell you that the person(s) has added photos to their portfolio (non challenge)
As with all my ideas this hasn't beenthought out very far at all and only came to me about 2 mins ago while browsing though my fave photographers to see if anyone had added to their collection...
Load up your virtual guns and shoot me down if you must

good idea sounds liek to me, but then i think the server would be bogged down sending out hundreds of emails per day
possibly thousands

| Rather than having an email sent, I think I'd prefer to see the list modified with a "last updated" date or something. |
