Hi,
I've taken a few snaps using slide film. I want to upload them to my computer but I'm not quite sure how to do this.
Could somebody help me?

You'll need either a dedicated film scanner or a flatbed document scanner that also allows film scanning...
I have the Epson 3170 flatbed scanner (current model I believe is 4870, costing under $200). While the above image may not be the most "photogenic", I think this scanner does a great job of scanning either 35mm negatives or slides. |

IF they are great shots and you plan on selling them, definitely use a dedicated film scanner. If they are just for you , the flatbed would work fine.

I don't think I take good enough pictures that I can sell them :) but I would like to scan my slides as I do like taking taking snaps through my film camera and I like slide film a lot.

I tried scanning them, but didn't like the resuls as well as shooting my slides through my digital camera. I placed the slide on a light table and used my macro in my Coolpix to fill the slide frame and got this result. Just another way to do it.
