I've been DQd from the "Reflections" challenge even though I submitted the original with the descriptions of the editing steps twice!
The first time, SC emailed me that they received the image but not the editing steps (how can that be???). I replied to the email describing the editing steps. Got no response, but received an automated validation request. I immediately submitted the whole thing again (image and editing steps), got a confirmation that it was received.
Next thing I know, I've been DQd because I did not submit the original and editing steps within 48h! Why??????
I am very upset. It was an image taken specifically for the challenge, and editing steps were fair and square for the "basic" rules. I spent a lot of time submitting and resubmitting, and got no explanation and no warning.
Can I please get some sort of an idea of what went wrong? |

Check to see what SC is online and PM them for clarification.

| Send an SC/many SC the confirmation you received showing that it was sent on time. |

Well, it turns out that th original I sent was not the original. Even though this is the only original I have.
The upsetting thing is that instead of letting me know about it, the SC rerequested the validation saying they did not receive the editing steps. I did not even know there was a problem with the file. I would have looked into it much earlier. Now it looks like it might be too late since it has been longer than 48h. Of course it has! I was not informed of the actual problem until I was DQd and emailed SC.
Tonight I'll have to go home and figure out what's wrong with my file. |

You've almost got the issue right. I will PM you shortly describing what the problems have been.
