Is reading reviews on internet EOS 5D but sample photo is blur at the sides?

That's one huge picture. Couldn't open all the way. Probably vignetting.

12.8 megapixel camera - maybe full size? no wonder it won't load!

Vignetting is dark area, not blur?
Sample photo is highly blur at right side of pic? |

I downloaded the full picture. Looks like there maybe a small amount of motion blur, but not sure. I examined the photo closely from left to right. In the sky the softness seems to be equal on across. In the middle third of the picture it does appear the the right side is softer than the left but I believe it to be an illusion. The sun is to your left shining on the trees on the right exposing mostly the midrange and the tone is almost equal causing an illusion of blurring. One or two trees together it don't look blur but when your looking at face of the tree line it does. If you look at the right side the mountain (Rock) is not blur. The only area that I do feel is blurred is the door of the cabin in the foreground at the bottom.

It eould appear the image is shot with an extreme wide angle lens that is softish at the edges, and especially the corners. It's common enough when using film lenses on full frame digital sensors; the sensors don't render well light falling on them at an extermely oblique angle.

I know of somone else who was also noticing vignetting with the 5D. I think it's when he was shooting with wide aperatures. Dunno.
