How do you get rid of it? I have tried adaware, Spyware Doctor, and Spy cleaner and I still get popup ads all the time now and when im in Firefox, I could be on any page, like Dpchallenge and I get redirected to some buy this or buy that site.

Another good one to try is Spybot Search&Destroy, which I use in conjunction with Lavasoft's AdAware.

I'm not a big Microsoft fan, but their AntiSpyware product is pretty good too. It's a free download from their website.

I have had big problems with adware b4 I had nothing important on computer (edit)*so fully formated and reinstalled windows* and now run 5 anti spyware programs only download files i know i can trust and never never use internet explorer because this is the best way to get spyware if you use it just once on the wrong site you can get a really bad infection which can take you hours to clean up.

A few questions...

- What operating system & version?
- What type of internet connection? Cable? DSL?
- Are you currently using a router if you have high-speed connection?

Find some descriptive part of the site you are being redirected to and then google that + "adware" or "spyware". You'll probably find very direct ways of removing that particular piece of annoyance.

Also try running your scans in Safe Mode.

You can find an excellent article here that should help you out tremendously. And then if problems still persist after following their instructions, you can post in the spyware forum of help2go.com for assistance from spyware experts.

I haven't found Microsoft's program to be that useful. Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D used in tandem work well as mentioned before... just make sure you update the reference files right after you install them. Another good one is Counter Spy by Sunbelt software - it's a 15 day free trial. Check it out.
