There are 3 categories; color, b&w. and digital. You can enter 5 pictures in each category. The winners get placed in a gallery and win $100 for first, $50 for second, and $30 for third.
I'm entering 5 into the digital category, you have to order prints and have them matted and framed and ready to hang. So I ordered a few 8x10's, which I wanted anyways.
Here's four that I'm entering (the other one is in a challenge, lol) also keep in mind that this is in kansas, so I'm kinda going with a "midwest" theme except for the hand:
I don't care if I win or not, I'm just exctied to get out there and participate it the photo community. I used to enter contest all the time with my paintings and sculpture, I forgot how fun it was to win a ribbon;)
let me know what you think...oh, and the one that I'm not showing is currently at +6 in wide-angle. So I'm happy about that.
