Well, I made it to the Big Apple for the Expo. While I am tired after the first day, it has been great! The Exhibit Hall had so much to see and explore. And I am going to the seminars trying to learn as much as I can. This is my first time to attend the PhotoPlus Expo. As the end of my first day draws to a close, I feel like I have learned a lot.
For those that are interested, I am blogging about my experiences here. I am including some reviews on products that I have seen demonstrated - such as Apple's new Aperture program.

Well, the Expo is over. I went to a lot of the seminars that were about stock photography and other ways to market your images.
I will have to say I've changed my mind about Royalty Free vs Rights Managed Images. While I was not sure whether I wanted to market any of my work Royalty Free before, I learned that both business models are thriving in today's professional photography world.
I have tried to pull together information that I think other people might find useful from my experience here in New York. If you are interested, I have blogged it here:
