Ok, I'm getting too lazy to try to figure this out for myself, so I shall ask you folks, who seem to always come through :)

How do you set up a PayPal button that will allow people to pay for items without forcing them to sign up for a PayPal account?

I've seen examples of PayPal buttons where you can get to a screen that gives you the option of simply putting in your credit card information without a PayPal account, and I'm not sure what needs to be done in order for that to happen...

Any input will be appreciated :)

To do this, I believe your Paypal account needs to be a Premier or Merchant account. Do you meet those criteria?

Don't let that scare you away. I set up a free checking account with my bank and then signed up for the PayPal Merchant/Premier. That way it's not my main account at risk. When you sign up they make a deposit or two and a withdrawal (just change) and you just have to enter what the amounts were. Very easy to sign up.
