Yesterday was a good day...I sold my first picture. It was kind of random actually. My roomate had his dad and his aunt over and they were standing outside under a tree. I though "Oh, that looks like a good family moment" so I grabbed my camera and took a couple of shots.
My roomates aunt came over to ask me about it and I gave her my website, she told be she would buy a couple of prints from me!
I'm so excited, I actually made money doing what I love so much. Ahhh...
Now if the Cname for my domain name would just switch over, so you could actually get on my website it would help, lol.
But I just wanted to share that story with you guys. I put a few new pics on my profile too if you want to check them out...
..now I'm off to go vote and comment, I need to catch up with my comments recieved, lol.

| That's awesome! I did a similar thing a couple days ago. I was at a cousin's 1st b-day party and I was running around taking shots of all the little kids. I got some really great shots and a couple of the mothers who I've never met before this were all exited like, we have to have copies of those photos. I'm not going to charge them (unless they ask how much), but I figured it would be a good way to network and get my name out there a little bit. |
