I have done a few city scenes and I'm noticing that my buildings bow inward. How can I correct this in post editing? And is this allowed under basic editing rules since I'm not taking out or changing any major part of the picture?

are you talking about them looking like they are falling over (usually backwards)? This is a perspective issue with just about all camera's but large (and I think medium) format cameras. It can be fixed some in post processing but about whether it is allowed you should read this, maybe it will clear it up...

Gayle, do you mean that the straight lines are curving near the edges of the image? Or is sab correct in his interpretation?

Perhaps posting a link or thumbnail of one of the bowed buildings would help. |
