I got a lot of questions about this lion shot, about whether it was a stuffed animal...

| I was wondering that today. For burst mode shots like that, does the mirror flip for each of them, or is it just the shutter? |

The mirror, you should hear what 8.5 FPS sounds like.

The mirror flips up otherwise you wouldn't be able to follow the action. |

I saw that shot in the previous thread. It is a phenomenal capture! Almost surrealistic.
At 510 shots per minute, a machine gun isn't a bad analogy. That's quite a collection of equipment you have there, drnick. |

What doc didn't tell ya is that he actually shot a 9 frame sequence and Slippy emailed me the missing frame...
