Maybe there is a way to do this and I'm just stupid (wouldn't be the first time), but I was just checking out some stuff a little bit ago and I wish I could see comments that I have received, and given from/to a specific member.

I don't think there is a way without browsing through the whole lists.

...this does not mean you are not stupid, just that the two things are unrelated. ;-P

hmmm.....I'll just put that down as a comforting statement...I guess...
:-P

That's what I mean though, it might be nice to say, hmmm, what comments have I received from "kpriest", or have I left any comments on "kpriest"s photos...

"Comment by kpriest:
WOOT, tater! Congrats on a very solid finish!!"

"Comment by kpriest:
Hey Tater - She is a cutie! As most others said, great expression, bad focus. Just too soft. I gave it a 5. I'm sure you had fun though!"

"Comment by kpriest:
I like the brick - if the window didn't break it up, I would copy it and use it as a texture/background for some of my goofing around photoshop stuff. The dresser is, um, BLUE. ;-) At least it looks blue to me.

Be careful where you wander taking these pics! :)"

"Comment by kpriest:
Well done, Tater! I like the lines, angles and the crop."

"Comment by kpriest:
After... after 16 shots of tequila? after the aliens were finished probing you? After a losing night of strip poker? I could go on like this all night. ;-)
Seriously - this is not what I would call "beautiful" but you didn't intend it to be. It is very artistic in a dark way and I am assuming that is what you intended. So, well done."

"Comment by kpriest:
Wow, tater - what a variety of colors! It's like an image from a children's storybook. Very nicely done, I think."

"Comment by kpriest:
I like the effects / lighting, but overall not very visually appealing to me."

"Comment by kpriest:
Great dof here! Color is very good as well. I see great things in your future with that new camera!"

"Comment by kpriest:
Very nice! This would make a nice, large, living room framed print."

"Comment by kpriest:
Nice job and congrats on a personal best, tater!"

(just the first 13 pages of your 'received comments'...but you get the picture. Pretty easy actually. Just goto your 'find in top window' button (ctrl +F on my computer) and type in the name of the person you want to find. Then go through your pages, and click the 'find' button. Doesnt' really take as much time as it sounds like it would.)

Wow, that's cool Heather. I did not know that. I'm not a hot button person though, I'm a point and click, drop down kind of guy :-P My wife uses hot keys, she is blazin' fast on the 'puter. Makes my head spin watching her. I don't know how anyone remembers all the control, shift, f-keys, etc. About the only one I know is, close your eyes, hit cont-alt-delete and pray for the best !

Anyways, that does work, thank-you, but I'm admittedly lazy :-P (and dial up sux) so it would be nice if you could click once and do one quick search (especially if you have a lot of comments to look through)

Actually, I guess your method would be better if I had my 'comments per page' higher, it is still on the 25 by default. hmmm. maybe I should put it higher...longer to display, but more info once it's there...hmmmm
life is so full of tough decisions.....

lol..I don't use hot keys either. I use AOL, and it's in the drop down menue for 'edit'. It says ctrl+F next to it though and figured that would be easier to explain. lol
