hello,
i do not have photoshop...i've got gimp. is the gimp "despeckle" filter the equivalent to the ps "dust & scratches" filter for basic challenge rules purposes? the gimp despeckle basically softens things just a hair so that the speckles are less noticable. they're still there, just not as prominent. the filter applies to the entire image.
is this a rules violation in a basic challenge?

This filter is legal for basic editing =)
