I'm looking to buy a couple filters for my G6 and I don't know much about them. I'm looking on Lensmateonline and they have the Hoya UV filters for $11.95 with 2 coats or the Hoya w/ 6 coats for $17.95. Is there really a noticable difference in the quality of the shots with the different coatings? Thanks.

The article I was going to link to that visually shows the difference between "cheap" and "high quality" UV filters is no longer on the original site, but luckily the internet archive had a copy.
