Okay, I'm going to get serious about this here and it never hurts to ask for you just never know.
I need some lights and such. Anyone that has some just sitting around and don't want to be bothered with EBay or such can PM me and I'll be happy to discuss working a deal to take some of it off your hands. Keep in mind, I'm on an EXTREMELY tight budget and might need to do payments on some stuff.
I'm not looking for a DSRL or anything like that, just some simple stuff to get started, I've been slowly putting together some stuff myself but anything that can come ready made would make my life a little bit easier, ya know?

Deannda, I hear your call! I'm in your low-budget zone too, so here's what I did. I needed lights for a gig and another wonderful DPC member suggested clip lights from Lowes or Home Depot. They're only about $6 each and when you throw a GE Reveal natural-light 100watt bulb in them, they do pretty darn good! I got three of them and am pleased. The next project, either finding cheap light stands or building my own out of PVC. :D

| I use the same lights with the same bulbs. On the ribbon I just got I used that for the background and a spot light for the vase and flower. Spot light and bulb cost me about 15.00 I think. Might not work for travel too well but great on still life. |
