hi everyone, i need your advice on something please. I'm a photographer amateur, and I need to take fashion photos for a friend's gown store. The problem is that it will be my first time with this kind of photo and I dont have lighting equipment. HOW CAN I "BUILD" SOME LIGHTING EQUIPMENT ? IS THIS POSSIBLE ? (using conventional light bulbs, etc.. )
I would appreciate your help =)

I bought ($US 30) double halogen lamps on a tripod at a hardware store and they work fine! From what i've seen, it's also what JAcko uses. :-)

What kind of lights are in the store above customers heads. Floursecent ones can be a pain since they actually flash on and off. Dont get confused if some come out with different color tone then the others just shoot a bunch.

damn mavrik thats pretty slick. I have the same light but didnt try that cool umbrella setup. My wife will thank you for not breaking the bank either. Ye ha... Now I have a mission for my lunch break. Oh is that a regular white umbrella or a photography umbrella?
