Hi guys. I was wondering if color lenses are really needed and if so, why? And does anyone know of a site where I can see some before and after pics so I can actually see the difference they make?

Thanks for your help!

You are referring to color filtersthat mount in front of your camera's lens?
They can occasionally be useful, however one can get the same effects in post-processing.

Singh-Ray makes some very nice filters, but they are much more expensive than Cokin filters.
