I have this picture that i want to print to a 8x10 size. The site i sent it to has a preview section. When previewed about 1 inch from the top and bottom is removed.I have resized the pic and it's still taking off from the top and bottom. How do i make the picture smaller? |

It sounds like maybe you don't have the right aspect ratio. Your ratio for an 8x10 should be 1.25:1. This chart might help you.

What site are you using? Perhaps someone here has experience with that particular site and can give you guidance. |

I am using costco for the print. The size is 1597 x 1510.How would i correct the ratio?is it the same as resizing? |

1597 x 1510 is close to 1:1 ratio, if you print this on 8x10 you will lose the sides ( assuming portrait orientation, or else lose top/bottom ).
You may
- crop for 8x10 aspect ratio
- Add border on sides to make the final ratio 1.25:1

Hey thanks guys for the help and the picture is a macro shot.I didn't want to crop because it would take away from the picture.I was hoping there was a way to make it smaller without cropping |
