I'm getting the Stroboframe Pro-RL, and was wondering if anybody prefers the cord over the ST-E2. I already have the ST-E2, but thought of getting the cord for simplicity sake on the bracket. Any thoughts? Thanks. |

I use the cords on all my cameras with flash brackets. To me it doesn't make sense to have one more thing with batteries to run down especially during a wedding or reception where we're already carrying extra batteries for the camera bodies and we each have Quantum Turbo battery packs for the flash heads. YMMV

I have heard issues about the ST-E2 having problems outdoors where there are no walls to bounce back the controlling flash.
as the flash will be directly above or to the side of the camera, I would not be sure if the cordless remote would always work. For if you didn't know, the cordless remote uses light to transmit not Radio waves.
I have the same problem at the mo as I have a new bracket, & can't get hold of the cable at the moment. |

Thanks for the replys. That's what I was thinking, and exactly my scenario. I just ordered everything. I got the cord: here but not sure if that helps in your corner of the world. Thanks again Kevin and Peter.
