Here they are. Somehow, my pbase gallery of the children I photographed in Kanchanaburi, Thailand are some of the best children portraits I have taken. I took 4 shots and re post-processed it with grungy moods. I am not using grungy filters. I played around in color channels and curves then blenfd the layers in soft light. I love the looks of the pics.

personally I think your other stuff beats these hands down. For me it feels less photography and more of silly filter effect.
thats just my opinion for what its worth

| I have to agree with alexsaberi. I like your other stuff much better it looks much more proffesional. These are great pictures just over done with the effects. I'm new here but have really enjoy your portfolio. |

| I agree with alexsaberi to! Your one of my favorite photographers on this site by FAR, but these just aren't working that well for with this affect. Number three is kinda cool, but you'r soooo good at working with light and color, I think this just kind of hides that talent... |

I had bypassed this thread just based on the title as I've seen enough of the grunge fad and had no desire to see more - then as I was browsing the 'Recently Uploaded' photo gallery I saw numerous grunge portraits that I knew immediately were yours Manuel. Your style is quite distinct.
Please don't go down this path! Your profile images are stunning as they are! I really enjoy your work - perhaps if you don't feel challenged anymore with profiles, try some other avenue of photography? Landscapes, Architecture, anything...but don't mess with your trademark.
