I got a new toy the other day, a Canon 580 EX flash. So I decided to test it at the Oktoberfest the other day. Took about 200 photos mostly of people, as I love the "Tracht" Costumes that most people wear at this event.
As I was alone & had a pile of expensive gear with me I didn't have a beer this time. But I was there a few days before with a bunch of friends and had the pleasure of sampling the brew (Or two).

Comments & critique are welcome.

All images are with the 350D with 17-85 lens.

Looks like fun. You have some really good shots there.

I was in Stuttgart for Volksfest a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't take my good camera and was more focused on food and beer so my pics are not as nice.
