My wife said whe would make Italian Chicken Soup, which I doubt originated in Italy at all, but nonetheless, I's about my favorite meal. Right up there with a good steak dinner anyways. :o)

My 6-year old daughter made me lunch today to take to work. I look forward to dining on the American classic "Peanut Butter & Jelly" sandwich. Well, almost "classic" - I just wish she would have left the potato chips in the bag, as opposed to squishing them into the sandwich with the PB&J. :-)

Grilled Ham and Cheese with fries and a Dr. Pepper and only because the girls had dr. appointments and I always take them to lunch when they have dr. appointments. Otherwise it would be a PB&J or a bowl of cereal if I remember to eat at all.

Lunch, what meal is that again?

Oh this has made me crave real Italian cooking, in Italy not some local, pretending to cook Italian, restaurant. The trouble is that once someone leaves their country to start up a restaurant elsewhere they adapt their recipes to the new country's likes and dislikes. So the people say wow we're eating real I talian/Chinese/Thai food but it is actually nothing like it!!! Added to the fact they cannot get their supplies from the same place so it has got to taste different.

Best Pizza I've had in 45 years of travelling in Italy, was in a workman's/local pizza placce on an industrial area near Napoli airport! Delicious!!!
