| I would like an easy way to see if I have recieved a comment on an old picture from either a past challenge or one that is in my portfolio. It's kind of a pain going through old pictures to look at the comments and to find out someone left me a comment a week or a month ago, and I didn't even know. I would like to see something that tells you if you have recieved a comment on anything except for an "in progress" challenge which you can check. |

| I normally check my 'Comments received' section to check for new comments. If you are online regularly, you won't miss any new comment. |

I also suggested something similar recently. But now I find that if I look at my "comments received" on my profile page, it goes up whenever I get a comment and if I click on it I see the most recent comments made except if they are on a current challenge. By doing this regularly I can look out for new comments.
I hope this makes sense - it's pretty late here so I'm just going to bed!

| I agree. Sometimes I write how many comments each picture has so I can see if the numbers change, but then a new challenge is added or I add to my portfolio and lose track. Maybe in addition to a "new message alert" they could add a new message column on the portfolio so you could know which picture got the new comment. |

..and I think its good enough for checking any new comments received on any photograph |
