Yeah!
Today is my DPC anniversary. I registered one year ago.
When this started I took nothing but tourist images with my IXUS400, by now I spent more money than I should in equipment. When I first visited this site I thoght 'Wow, cropping, you can actually do that?', by now I'm familiar with words as DOF, USM and adjustment layer.
I want to thank every one on this site for helping me every time I was lost in the depth of post processing, for encouraging me when I was down, and most of all for helping me in improving my photographic skills. I've never been part of such a welcoming online community.
The next step for me will be to sell my first print. If you like, have a look at my prints.
Okay, thanks for your attention, now go out shooting again :)

hi, gloda, and happy anniversary!

i started looking at this site in may, and just bought my membership this weekend(as well as entering my first member challenge.) looking at my morning scored made me think "why am i trying to do this?" reading your post, and hearing about all that you've gotten out of the membership, has bolstered my spirits! then, i went to your website and took a look at some of the pix you have taken, and that REALLY gave me hope that i'm going to improve through this membership as well. now i can't wait to see how my own photos are going to look one year from now...

Happy Anniversary! I just realized that my 3 year here was this past Saturday! :-)

From a Fuji 602z prosumer to Nikon D2X with 13 ribbons in 3 years, not too bad I guess. I learned a lot from this site, thanks to everyone who helped me along the way!
