In light of the few entries this week, I would like to see if anyone would be challenged enough to leave comments for all entries in the Celebratiomn challenge?

I've voted on just about everything - pretty disappointed in the # that relied on titles (again).
Otherwise ... I dunno, not my favorite challenge entries.

I've commented on several. Maybe throughout the week, I'll make an attempt to do them all. I'm just stumped as to why people can't read more than just the title of the challenge. (sigh)

I grow a little perplexed at that you mentioned that you wish people would read the description. As far as I can see, the ONLY things a voter sees when looking at an image is 1) The title 2)The image itself. I don't see any description on the images while in the voting stage. Personally, I think this is a good thing because a person is not letting the description of "who, what, why, how, where" impact on thier voting. A voter is voting primarily on the integrity of the image itself and nothing else - no description, no knowledge of who's work it is to sway or influence the vote. |

| Slaps head. Doh!!!!O.K. I am slow to understand due to lack of good sleep....now I understand what you mean by description - description of the challenge not the entry itself. Pardon my lapse of understanding. |

Couldn't agree with you more. My photo is getting some comments like "I don't see celebration here!" or "Nice, but not for this one" when my interpretation (and I think I speak and understand English rather well) is: "Shoot something that gives us reason to celebrate". This DOES NOT have to be a celebration in itself. Not that my pic is very good, but I think people misunderstood this challenge a lot. |
