Below is an original, uncropped/unprocessed shot from my NM vacation, and to its right is my cropped and processed version. Going for an architectural study of the church door, my questions are: is the color too red? Is the crop too tight or too loose? Tonal range? Other critique?



Now that I really look at them side by side, I do think I put a little too much red into the mix... urgh.

I don't think that it has too much red at all. I feel that it is a great improvement. I like the strong adobe color, it goes well with the color of the door. Nice shot!!
