If you'd like to donate, but have been waiting for the last day, it's here!

So far, with your help, we've raised $1694 to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis, but we can do more! With only a few more donations, we could break the $2,000 mark!

Please, if you've been thinking about donating, but have put it off -- now is the time to do it!

Please bid on John Setzler's framed print auction or make a donation today! Either way, you are supporting a very worthwhile cause!

Thank you again!

It absolutely does!

It's worth noting that while we've reached nearly $1750 in donations, the median donation is $20. This goes to prove that if everone does a little, together we can do a lot of good!

Thank you so much!

Lucky me...

Originally posted by National Weather Service:

... Showers with heavy rain are likely to affect the area later
Friday into Saturday...

A cold front will slowly approach from the central Ohio Valley and
not expected to move through our area until Saturday. At the same
time, the remnants of Tammy will stream north along this frontal
boundary. The interaction of these two weather-making systems over
the central Appalachians and the northern mid Atlantic region will
lead to numerous showers overspreading the area during the daytime
on Friday and in all likelihood become heavy at times from Friday
afternoon into Saturday morning.

If we do experience the heavy rainfall, the favored time will be
late Friday into early Saturday. Total rainfall amounts of 2 to 4
inches are expected at this time. The highest amounts are expected
to occur in eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey. There is a
tendency for tropical systems to produce generous rainfall amounts.
We will continue to monitor the evolution of this storm to try to
determine if even greater rainfall than what is currently forecasted
will occur. If thunderstorms become possible, this would enhance the
heavy rain potential. A wider flood threat would also occur if the
heavier rain falls in a more concentrated time period than currently
is expected. Given the most likely scenario at this time,
large-scale flooding is not anticipated. The larger rivers will see
rises, but remain within bankfull. But it is quite likely that we
will see nuisance type flooding of roads, urban areas, fields,
poor-drainage locations, and possibly some of the smaller and
quicker responding streams.

Heavier rain is expected to arrive in time for the afternoon
dismissal of school children and the evening commute on Friday. Please
be cautious once the rain begins and if possible take roads that
are less prone to poor drainage flooding.

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio all hazards or your favorite media
source for further updates.

Ah well... the show must go on!

Come on guys- let's make a last push for Terry. We can get him over the $2000 mark with a little help. Just $5 can make the difference.

Anyone wanna help bump me over $2000? We're almost there (only $100 $70 to go)!

Thanks,
Terry
