Whats your ratio of Avg vote cast to Avg vote received?
What does it mean? Does it tell others something about you?

I started out as a "prick" when it came to the voting but I lightened up quite a bit. I see no need to punish people unless they serve up, what seems to be, heartless looking stuff that took no effort.
4 is usually my lowest vote, with the occasional spank, when something pisses me off.

I don't necessarily see that there is, or should be a relationship between these two figures... they simply are what they are. Mine ar as follows:
Votes Cast: 60360
Avg Vote Cast: 5.2318
Votes Received: 9733
Avg Vote Received: 6.0160
My avg. vote cast splits the difference between regarding 5.0 as "average" and the true mathematical average of the 1-10 scale (5.5). I'm neither an "easy" or "hard" voter. My avg. vote received simply reflects how others perceive my work, and should be expecte to have no correlation to the first statistic.

I have way more votes given than received and the only thing it means is that I've been too busy or too much of a wimp to enter any more challenges. Okay, I'm entering one of the current challenges, dammit!

...and how does the numbers of votes recieved compared to number of challenges entered play into it all? I would think if you have only entered 4 challenges and have 2000 votes then you are probably a pretty noticed photographer and vice-a-versa. Maybe not, just curious. I start my voting at 5 if they have met the challenge then add points for each item I think they excelled at (see bio for more info). You have to shoot total crap and miss the challenge to get a one from me.

2x as many votes cast as recieved. But avg vote's pretty close...
I don't vote that high, but 1's and 2's are an exeption. I usualy vote 1's for the ones I like best and change that vote to a 9 or a 10 just before challenge ends.. Let them sweat a bit ;)
