My Sony 707 has a weird problem. THe LCD screen has a yellowish tint to it. My wife said she took some pics at school today and on about the 4th one she noticed the screen was yellow. At first I thought the white ballance was messed up, but I checked that and all is ok. The pics came out just fine. I did a reset on the camera, removed the battery but still the screen is yellow. Other than that the camera appears to work just great.
Any ideas?

When I saw the title about sony error i thought it might be the same thing that happened to my old F707 with the card reading fault that sony is famous for. I feel maybe the screen has gone, when these LCD type panels go they tend to reflect a single color and even if you turn off the back-light you will see nothing. I think you need a new screen. now here's the good news -:
I still have my old F707 in bits in a box at my ex-wifes house (it is still there i looked the other day) I am quite willing to send you this camera with the box in bits if you agree to pay the postage. (my camera died from card read error but the screen is fine, the lens is shot too) There is a spare battery for you I think a charger too but you are welcome to it if it will help you out.. PM me if you would like it and we can arrange something.

Thanks Marac, I need to find my receipt because I beleive I got the 4 year replacement plan. If I dont have that and its not able to be fixed I will contact you for your broken 707.
