I've been using a personalized google page as my homepage lately. One of it's items is a "How to of the day". And one of today's how tos is "How to Create Those Amazing Blurred Background Photo Portraits". Now, I already know how to blur my background, but I clicked on it out of amusement since I hadn't seen anything related to photography on there yet. When I saw the photo they were using as an example I just couldn't stop laughing:

What a terrible howto though! One step, telling you to use a 35mm camera. Real thorough, that.

Agreed. If I didn't know how to create an "amazing blurred background" before reading that, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't know how to after, either.

Did you follow the link to "How to be Photogenic"? ....Warning! Don't take this too seriously as there are other more important things in life.

LOL I kept looking for the next step, asking the puter "is that it?" my goodness, we didn't know photography was so simple!

but it is that simple.. you just point and shoot, if it omes out good you did a good job, if it comes out bad, blame the camera for not understanding your artistic view, and throw it out a high window...

that could get a little expensive, though, so you should stick to the disposable cameras for that method.

nah, go for the nice expensive DSLR's I'll be waiting at the bottom of a tall building if anyone wants to try this out.......

Hey, there are more steps listed now. When I first followed the link there was only step "1". Or am I looping out?
