That's okay -- I plan to be on a beach someplace in southren California. Given a choice -- I'll take a beach any day! But I'll be thinking of you.

The tiny gift shop on the right is no longer there -- it's now a really big gift shop on the left before you enter the zoo. This way you can shop at the gift shop and never have to enter the zoo. Just in case you wanted to do you holiday shopping at the zoo gift shop.

| Gee, I'd love to come too, but I think I'd be just a little bit intimidated by all these DSLR's that are showing up. :) Actually, I think I'll try to show up anyway. Might get some great pointers! |

| Supposed to be in the 70s, so have a great time, I'll be in Denver, but at a meeting. Bumer...maybe next time. How about Cheyenne Mtn. Zoo in Colorado Springs next time. |

Please do show up. Certainly no need to feel intimidated. I have only had my camera since the spring and I am certainly hoping to learn. Remember cameras don't take photos, people do.

I live downtown DEN and am debating whether or not to go. It would be fun to meet some local photographers, especially for future outings. I would echo the same thing said about "lesser" cameras and say still come by all means. The entrance to the zoo opens onto the Big cats, or the lion exhibit more specificially, would have been my suggestion as well.

Hey all :)
I was just wondering who is planning to show up for this? Looked like this Saturday worked for most people, but I haven't seen a lot of confirmations. Hopefully see some of you there!

| I've got a company meeting from 9-11, but I am planning on heading straight up there afterwards. I've got Don's cell number, so I'll call when I get there to find out where everyone is. Of course I could just listen for all the shutter clicks too! :) |

Don, Good stuff! It was great meeting all you guys, I know that my family had a great time. I shot 637 pictures myself and Jenn shot 106. Lots to go through but looks like I got some good ones too. I'll get 'em up after processing.
