Anybody experienced problems with Fuji compact flash cards? I purchased one 256mb Fuji CF card and had plenty of problems. Error's all the time when i tried to view via lcd screen. Although it stored all the photos ok and sometimes i could look at them sometimes different errors. Swapped it for a Scandisk and no problems, also have a Viking card and thats ok as well. Odd thing is when i took it back the guy in the shop stuck it in another s602z and no problems! ??

David,
Since the pix are stored OK, it sounds like there is a problem with the camera/card interface that only affects reading from the card. There are a number of possible electrical reasons that this would happen, and the firmware is a possibility as well. It doesn't necessarily mean that there's anything actually wrong with the card or the camera.
In any case there's nothing to lose by upgrading firmware. If this does not help, take your camera in to the store where you bought the card and show them the error. Regardless of whether it works in another camera, it's not working for you.

I had the card replaced by the shop so no problem there. Just wondered if anybody else had come accross this problem
