I just got a job at the school newspaper and I did my first shoots this past week. I particularly enjoyed my first experience with sports when I shot the rugby tournament. Partially because I got to use the paper's D1H and 80-200 f2.8. It was not nearly as easy as I thought it would be but, I had an awesome time doing it and I'm still happy with the results. Just wanted to share a few and get some thoughts from everyone. Some tips or suggestions from anyone with experience shooting sports would be awesome too. Thanks ahead of time for your help.

some good shots there. Yea sports is hard stuff to shoot! I've been usin the same equipment (and a 300 2.8) to shoot my university's football team. The d1h makes u wish your d70 was faster, then u see the files from your d70 and it makes u wish the d1h had better color renditions.

Definetly didn't realize how slow my D70 is until I used that. Man that makes a huge difference in such high speed situations.
