So, I made my annual autumnal colors pilgramidge to Mueller State Park, CO, and stopped at Wal-Mart on my way back to the plains to get some developed. I got the below picture in an 8x10 and the developer asked to put it on the wall. I let him, and thought it was kinda cool.

Don't hate me because I'm lame!!

I was wondering, has anyone else had this happen?

This is my fav from the trip. 4 more can be seen at my blog HERE

FYI- the local(ish) WalMart is having a "Colors of Autumn" contest throughout October, photos to be judged by the photo lab staff.

I have yet, though, to have others ask to hang my photos on their walls, especially in public. Way to go!

I don't have a local Walmart. There is one in the next town (hour away), I wish I had somewhere to enter pictures!!

I had something like that -

I walked into the back room where I get all my photos matted and framed and there are two of my photos hanging on the wall! They were imperfect prints, but he mounted them to foam core and hung them up just because he liked them.

Better than any ribbon really -

So I know how you feel Joe, kinda makes your day. Congrats!

That's great but sometimes, especially if you are trying to sell them having the framer or printer keep imperfect ones is both a compliment and also a conflict of interent and borders on theft of intectual property. NOW if they ask if they can keep one then that is great and one should be proud, but to use them without permission is well .....

digitalknight - sorry to "kick a dead thread" - but I just have to tell you... I can't find anything imperfect about either one of the photos - I think they're both absolutely wonderful!! The one of the horses is even moody! Excellent job well done on both of them! I woulda gave'em 10's if they were in a current challenge!
