as a full time student, i should get almost all my taxes back on my tax return. probably around 1000 dollars. should i upgrade to a 20d with it? or buy a nice L glass? im kind of tired of staring at my silver camera with its limitations, even with the undutchables hack applied. i originally wanted to save up to buy a car but with the way gas prices are as of late, im rethinking that notion. interested in everyones opinion, thanks for taking the time to read this.

Lenses will be with you for ever.. bodies tend to fade and die.. my advice is to invest in good quality glass while you have the oppertunity to get some.

Yeh, as alionic said, bodies come and go, but great lenses stay. Unless you're really grating against some of the limitations of your current cam, I'd also suggest a carefully-considered lens purchase.
