I think it'd make it a bit easier if the Portfolio was allowed to read EXIF info in order to import that into the fields in image info, rather than having to look it up and type it in everytime.

doesn't 'Save it for Web' remove the exif information ? |

Yeah - maybe I'm one of the few that still uses Save As after converting to sRGB... but my Save for Web doesn't work.. I forgot about that. :-X

There are other options to using "Save for Web". If you select, "Save As", Photoshop will ask what level of quality you would wish your image to be saved as. I have found that this is better than using "Save for Web", AND it retains the EXIF data within the file. Why not add the function for those photos that have the EXIF data retained in the photo, and for those that don't, then those people can add it manually.
Here is a link to a PHP script, the language that this website is written in, that will extract just about all of the information that is embedded into a digital photo.
