Okay, I like the idea of not trying to make my own logo so here's the deal:

What I'm looking for:

Step 1) A simple logo for use on my business cards/website.
Step 2) A business card designed using the logo
Step 3) An entire website design

The Rewards:

Step 1 only) Free dpc membership or $25USD
Step 1 & 2) $75 if I'm completely happy, $40 if I need to tweak it.
Step 1&2&3) Let's talk...

My brand/criteria:

- Needs to have "Mike Schneider" and then "Documentary Photographer" or "Photojournalist" as the title.
- Very interested in worldwide humanitarian stories but likely need to exhibit more of a "daily journalism" type photographer image for the first few years
- Business card should have a spot for location (Woodstock, Ontario), Phone number (xxx-xxx-xxxx), website (www.mikeschneider.ca) and email (mike[at]mikeschneider[dot]ca)
- No pink, I like earth tones
- I've heard arguments for 1-sided and 2-sided business cards so do what you think is best
- I was imagining the logo to have a font like an old typewriter to evoke the journalistic feel...I dunno, something like that

Feel free to ask me questions...I'm really picky...I hope this isn't a dumb idea. I've tried to do it on my own but I really want it done well. If nobody here is up for it I'll just hire it out to a friend.
