My wife sent this to me here at work, and I and my co-worker were just stuck with a case of the "awwww's". He is so dang cute it's a crime I tell ya.

This is a cute kid!
I would use a bounce card to get the light levels on his face closer to the light levels on the wood and the sky behind him - the bright values surounding him visually push his face "back" into the photo.
I hope you don't mind, this is what I was thinking I'd do with the post to bring him out more - please bear in mind I have a total of about 4 minutes in this - but you get the idea
